Now Hiring for Part-Time Teaching and Assisting Positions!

Mini Motions Dance Center has celebrated 32 years in business. Having reliable, helpful staff is a huge part of having a successful company. We are looking to hire for teaching and assisting positions.

We are looking to hire teachers and assistants for the following styles: 

​

  • Jazz

  • Tap

  • Ballet

  • Hip Hop

  • Tumbling

  • Lyrical

​

We offer majority of combination classes, so applicants with experience in multiple styles will have more opportunities for classes/hours.

​

Position would be part time, ranging from 1-3 hours a day and 1-3 days a week. Classes are Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.  

Dance Teachers are responsible for leading dance classes for students ages 2-18. Their duties include teaching various dance techniques, choreograph and teach dances for the recital, plan lessons for each class that meets weekly, and communicate with students and parents on events and activities throughout the season.   

Dance Assistants are responsible for helping manage and organize the classes. Their duties include taking attendance for class, making announcements, getting out equipment and dance shoes for class, and helping the teacher demonstrate the dance technique and choreography to the students.  

Dance Assistants perform the following tasks:

  • Monitoring student’s performance.

  • Preparing for activities.

  • Following the lead of the teacher and help with instructing students.

  • Making suggestions to students and providing feedback for their growth.

  • Performing dance technique and choreography to demonstrate for the students.

DANCE TEACHERS

Dance Teachers perform the following tasks: 

 

  • Monitoring student´s performance. 

  • Planning activities.

  • Instructing students at the studio.

  • Making suggestions to students, and providing feedback for their growth.

  • Adapting teaching methods to meet student´s needs.

  • Performing dance technique and choreography to demonstrate for the students.
